GTA San Miguels

A minute of Tucumán street life with GTA's aesthetic and humor.

GTA San Miguels is a one-minute reel that reinterprets the GTA video game aesthetic in a Tucumán key: a local everyman character —t-shirt, jean shorts, sandals— interacts with the city as if it were a game world.

The soundtrack is an original G-Funk rework of "El cariño," a classic track by Tucumán musician Don Carlos, produced with Suno and edited in Ableton Live. Over that base, recognizable local street sounds were layered in —local slang and swearing, street vendors' calls— along with typical scenes of the city: motorbikes riding on the crosswalk, horse-drawn carts, badly driven taxis, and flooded areas of town.
