El Calvario

Deceased rock musicians reimagined singing tango in a dark, caricature-driven aesthetic.

El Calvario is built on a single premise: what if, after their concerts, those musicians who are no longer with us got together to sing tango? The result is a musical and visual reinterpretation where rock classics take shape as tangos — with original arrangements, AI-generated characters, and a distinctive dark, caricature-driven aesthetic.

Each piece combines original music production — tango arrangements of rock songs — with character design, animation, and editing. A project that crosses genres, eras, and techniques to build something entirely its own: part tribute, part experiment, part personal signature.
